South Pend Oreille Fire and Rescue was called out to a 2-story structure fire at 7453 LeClerc Rd S on November 9th. SPOFR Chief Brad Martin said, “The structure was fully engulfed on our arrival; however, we were able to save a garage with a car inside and an outbuilding from the blaze.”
Martin said that there were no injuries, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
Chief Martin spent the night on “firewatch” to allow his volunteers to return home to their daytime jobs. He wishes to thank Fire District 4 for their Mutual Aid Assistance in fighting this fire.
