Maya Phillips, Full-Time Firefighter and EMT

Maya Phillips is a new face with South Pend Oreille Fire and Rescue and a Full Time Firefighter and EMT. She was accepted and attended the July 17th orientation and started her first shift on July 20th. She came to SPOFR from The Wenatchee Valley Fire Department where she was a Resident Firefighter/EMT.

Maya said “I’m liking it and I ‘m happy to be here” She enjoys hiking and loves to hike with her dog Hayes.

Maya has many Fire Certificates as well as her National EMT and State EMT Certificates.
